Queen Elizabeth II, the UK’s longest-serving monarch, has died aged 96, after reigning for 70 years.
Elizabeth II was Queen of the United Kingdom and other Commonwealth realms from 6 February, 1952 until her death on September 8, 2022.

What are the secrets of her longevity and graceful aging?
Bryan Kozlowski, author of “Long Live the Queen! 23 Rules for Living From Britain’s Longest-Reigning Monarch,” told The New York Post: “She has aged incredibly well and is the paradigm of health and wellness.”
Here are the foods Queen Elizabeth II used to eat to live to 96 – you can eat like a Royal, too.

Tea and biscuits
The Queen started her day with tea and biscuits. She had a freshly brewed pot of Earl Grey tea (no milk or sugar), with a few biscuits.
The Queen liked simple, healthy meals. Breakfast typicallt consist of cereal and fruit, or toast and marmalade. On rare ocassions, she enjoyed scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and truffle.
Lunch is also simple, like fish with vegetables, or grilled chicken with salad.

Afternoon tea
This was the Queen’s favorite ritual: the afternoon tea of Darjeeling with sandwiches (smoked salmon, egg and mayonnaise, ham, or raspberry jam sandwiches).
The Queen used to have for dinner fillets of beef, venison, or salmon. The meat is turned into Gaelic steak, and served with a sauce of mushroom, cream and whisky.

The Queen would sometimes eat dessert, including strawberries or peaches from the greenhouses at Windsor Castle.
Queen Elizabeth II was also a fan of dark chocolate, chocolate biscuit cake, and chocolate mousse.
The Queen enjoys a gin cocktail in the morning, a glass of wine or champagne at lunch, and another glass of champagne plus a dry martini in the evening, followed by a good night sleep.
