Tea and biscuits
The Queen started her day with tea and biscuits. She had a freshly brewed pot of Earl Grey tea (no milk or sugar), with a few biscuits.
Breakfast
The Queen liked simple, healthy meals. Breakfast typicallt consist of cereal and fruit, or toast and marmalade. On rare ocassions, she enjoyed scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and truffle.
Lunch
Lunch is also simple, like fish with vegetables, or grilled chicken with salad.
Afternoon tea
This was the Queen’s favorite ritual: the afternoon tea of Darjeeling with sandwiches (smoked salmon, egg and mayonnaise, ham, or raspberry jam sandwiches).
Dinner
The Queen used to have for dinner fillets of beef, venison, or salmon. The meat is turned into Gaelic steak, and served with a sauce of mushroom, cream and whisky.
Dessert
The Queen would sometimes eat dessert, including strawberries or peaches from the greenhouses at Windsor Castle.
Queen Elizabeth II was also a fan of dark chocolate, chocolate biscuit cake, and chocolate mousse.
Alcohol
